Gymnastics Announces 2023 Schedule

Reigning EAGL Champions set for four home meets
WASHINGTON – GW gymnastics will host four meets at the Smith Center as part of its 13-meet 2023 regular-season schedule, head coach Margie Foster-Cunningham has announced.Â
The reigning EAGL Champions will begin their 2023 campaign hosting Nebraska, Cornell and William & Mary for the 15th annual Lindsey Ferris Invitational on Jan. 15 at 1 p.m.Â
The Buff & Blue will then begin a five-meet road stretch, visiting NC State, UNC, Towson, Denver and UNH before returning home on Feb. 17 for its Pink Meet with Temple and Yale at 7 p.m.Â
GW then heads to Temple on the same weekend for a quad meet on Sunday, Feb. 19, at 1 p.m.Â
On Feb. 24, GW will welcome Western Michigan, Fisk, Ursinus and Bowling Green to the Smith Center for a 7 p.m. start. It's the inaugural season for Fisk University, the first HBCU to sponsor women's gymnastics.Â
The Buff & Blue head to Towson for a quad meet on February 26 and then meet LSU, Cal and Washington in Baton Rouge, La., for the Tigers' Podium Challenge.Â
GW returns to the Smith Center for the final time on March 10 at 7 p.m. for Senior Day. GW will conclude its regular season at Maryland on Sunday, March 12, at noon.Â
The 2023 EAGL Championship is set for Saturday, March 18, at UNH.Â
