Gymnastics Ranked No. 14 in the Country for Academic Excellence

16 gymnasts recognized as WCGA Academic All-America Award winners
WASHINGTON - Sixteen gymnasts have been named to the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-American list, the organization announced on Wednesday.
As a team, GW ranked 14th overall nationally among 75 participating schools. The team's 3.77 GPA helped the group jump an impressive 26 spots from the 2019-20 rankings.
In order to receive the individual honor, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or better.
Among the honorees were recent graduates Hannah Cohen, Cydney Crasa, Rachel Kaplan, Katya Karpova, Olivia Norman, Chloe Vitoff and Anna Warhol.
Simone Banen and Olivia Zona each received recognition for the third time in their careers.
Nora Houseman, Hannah Munnelly, Olivia Raymond and Katherine Shek earned the honor for the second time.
They were joined by first-time honorees Deja Chambliss, Julia Peters and Anneliese Silverman.
