Amador and Window Take Home A-10 Postseason Honors

Senior and first-year combined to lead Colonial offense in 2021
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Kelly Amador and Alicia Window of GW women's soccer have earned Atlantic 10 All-Conference recognition in 2021. Amador took home All-Conference Second Team in the midfield, while Window was named to the Atlantic 10's All-Rookie team.
Amador, a graduate student and three-year captain for GW, put forth her best season for the Buff & Blue in 2021, leading the team in points with 14, and tying for the team lead in goals with five. The Yardley, Pennsylvania native takes home an A-10 Postseason honor for the first time in her career, just one week after being named A-10 Offensive Player of the Week.
Window, a first-year from Manchester, UK, burst onto the scene with one of the best offensive seasons for a rookie in Colonial history. Her five goals were tied for the team lead, and were the most by a GW first-year since Sofia Pavon scored six in 2015. During the Buff & Blue's match against Dayton, Window tallied one of the fastest goals in program history, scoring just 12 seconds into the game.
