Pair to represent GW in Charlottesville
WASHINGTON – Katarina Marinkovikj and Stella Wiesemann of GW women's tennis will play as a doubles pair at the ITA Atlantic Super Regional on Friday, hosted by Virginia.
FORMAT: The round of 16 doubles play will begin on Friday at 9 a.m. Marinkovikj and Wiesemann will play UVA's Natasha Subhash and Sofia Munera. The winner of Friday's matchup will play on Saturday at 3 p.m., followed by semifinal and final rounds on Sunday and Monday. All matches will be available to watch here.Â
ROAD TO REGIONALS: The duo secured a spot in this weekend's championships at the ITA Atlantic Regionals on Oct. 3 after defeating opponents from Mount St. Mary's, Morgan State and Navy to advance to the final round of the doubles flight.
