Robles to Speak at SHEcompetes Webinar Series

GW head coach to discuss developing women in leadership
WASHINGTON -Â GW women's rowing head coach Marci Robles is set to take part in the SHEcompetes webinar series later this month, discussing developing women in leadership.
The six-part series, sponsored by US Lacrosse, explores some of the issues that impact young girls and women in sports, both as athletes and as members of the sports industry.
"I want to thank US Lacrosse for the invitation to be on this panel," Robles said. "I'm excited to have a conversation about leadership development with such a strong group of women. This is very much a focus in our own program here at GW, so I look forward to sharing and learning more!"
SHEcompetes is a free, compelling series of panel discussions and interactive sessions with female sports influencers targeted to girls and women in sports. The series offers expanded digital programming focused on topics related to confidence, leadership and the benefits for girls and women through sports participation.
Robles' panel is scheduled for Tuesday, September 29 at 4 p.m. Registration and more information about the series are available here.Â
