Nachtwey Continues NCAA Zone Diving Championships

Junior diver competed on 1-meter at regional qualifying meet
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - George Washington's Peter Nachtwey continued his stay at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships on Tuesday, posting a score of 242.30 on the 1-meter board to place 37th in a decorated field at the Aquatic Center at Mylan Park.
A junior who claimed his second straight A-10 Most Outstanding Diver honor at the conference meet last month, Nachtwey will have one more opportunity to qualify for the NCAA meet on Wednesday when he competes on platform.
Last season, the Ohio native placed 10th at the Zone A Championships in that event, setting a program six-dive platform record in the process (271.35).
