Haynes Brown Garners A-10 Preseason All-Conference Honors

High-scoring junior scored 11 goals in 12 games last season
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - George Washington junior Oscar Haynes Brown has been named to the Atlantic 10 Preseason All-Conference Team, the league announced on Thursday.
Haynes Brown cemented his place among the A-10's most explosive offensive threats as a sophomore last fall, tallying 11 goals in 12 games to earn a spot on the All-Conference First Team.
The forward from London, England, tied for first in the A-10 with 25 points in 2018, despite missing five games due to injury. He became the first Colonial since 2011 to notch double-digit goals and ranked among the top 10 nationally in goals and points per game for most of the season.
Haynes Brown started last season in style, notching seven goals and an assist over the first two games. In all, he recorded points in seven of his 12 appearances, including three of five conference contests.
For his career, Haynes Brown has totaled 39 points in 25 games with 17 goals and five assists. He was named to the A-10 All-Rookie Team after the 2017 season.
Haynes Brown and the Colonials kick off the new season next Friday, Aug. 30, at UNC Greensboro.
