Olivia Cantrell Lands on A-10 All-Academic Team

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – George Washington women's rowing's Olivia Cantrell has been named to the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team, the league announced on Monday morning.
Cantrell coxed the second varsity 8 to a second-place finish (7:01.898) at the A-10 Championship, crossing the finish line just 1.795 seconds behind Rhode Island (7:00.103) to clinch the silver medal. The result helped GW finish the day with its best performance at the championship in program history, totaling a program-high 48 points to take second place.
The Doylestown, Pennsylvania, native excelled off the water and boasted a 3.92 GPA majoring in civil engineering.
