A-10 Releases Men’s Basketball Schedule Pairings

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 Conference on Thursday released schedule pairings for the 2019-20 men's basketball season with GW slated to play home-and-home series against Duquesne, Fordham, George Mason, Richmond and St. Bonaventure.
As part of the 18-game league slate, the Colonials will also play host to Davidson, La Salle, Rhode Island and St. Joseph's. GW will make road trips to Dayton, Massachusetts, Saint Louis and VCU. Dates and game times will be released at a later date.
First-year head coach Jamion Christian has several experienced players on his roster, including juniors Maceo Jack (team-high 64 3-pointers last season) and Justin Mazzulla (started all 33 games, led GW in assists). Big man Arnaldo Toro, who was nearly averaging a double-double before his junior campaign was ended by injury, also returns. Five talented newcomers are set to join the program when summer practice gets underway in early July.
