Junior's amazing season continued as part of 3-1 week

Fassnacht has been one of the best hitters in the nation during his junior campaign, and this week was no exception, going 7-for-16 (.438) with two doubles, two home runs, six runs scored and seven RBI. The everyday shortstop notched a pair of three-hit games, three multi-RBI games and pounded a pair of homers for the second straight game on Wednesday against Towson.
Overall, Fassnacht is among the nation's best, ranking in the top 20 in 10 different categories, the only player in Division I to do so. He currently is tied for the nation's lead in doubles (17) and is the second-hardest student-athlete to strike out in the nation (20.8 AB/K). He also ranks fourth in runs (43), fifth in total bases (98), eighth in hits (52), ninth in slugging (.784), ninth in OPS (1.307), 11th in batting average (.419), 14th in on-base percentage (.523) and t-16th in triples (4).
Fassnacht has recorded an impressive 15 multi-hit games through GW's first 31 contests and has accrued 11 multi-RBI games. Additionally, he leads the team with 10 steals and has yet to be caught in the campaign.
