Women’s Tennis Set For Pair of Matches

Colonials to host ECU; travel to Richmond
SERVING FIRST: The George Washington women's tennis team will face East Carolina at the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center on Friday at noon before making the short trip to Richmond for a 2 p.m. match on Saturday.
LAST TIME OUT: GW fell to College of Charleston, 6-1, last Friday. Sara Grubac added the sole point for the Colonials at No. 2 with a 7-6, 2-6, 10-6 victory.
ABOUT EAST CAROLINA: The Pirates travel to the District on a 15-match win streak, having dropped only two matches all season. Last weekend, ECU swept Charlotte, Elon and North Carolina State.
ABOUT RICHMOND: The Spiders currently sit 5-6 on the season, having dropped the last three matches to Massachusetts, Samford, and JMU. Last season, the Buff and Blue stomped the Spiders, 6-1.
ROAD AHEAD: The Colonials will continue A-10 action next weekend on the road. GW will first travel to Massachusetts on Saturday, March 30 for a 1 p.m. match before heading to Rhode Island the next day for a noon start.
