Complete 2018-19 Women's Basketball Schedule
WASHINGTON – GW women's basketball announced its complete 2018-19 Atlantic 10 schedule on Tuesday, featuring nine games against postseason teams from a year ago as part of the 16-game slate.

The Colonials will appear on national television three times during A-10 play, including the conference opener against Fordham (Jan. 3), which will be televised on CBS Sports Network.

The Buff & Blue then hit the road for trips to Rhode Island (Jan. 9) and La Salle (Jan. 16) sandwiched around a home game with reigning A-10 regular season champion Dayton (Jan. 12). GW then welcomes in a pair of local rivals in George Mason (Jan. 19) and VCU (Jan. 23).

The Buff & Blue will head to Duquesne on Jan. 27, getting an early look at the site of the 2019 Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Championship, where the Colonials will attempt to win their fourth tournament title in the last five years.

After welcoming Davidson on Jan. 31, GW will open February with four of five games away from Foggy Bottom. The Buff & Blue start the tough stretch with a trip to Saint Louis (Feb. 3) in a game televised by CBSSN. Following a trip to George Mason (Feb. 6), GW hosts Saint Joseph's (Feb. 10) in a rematch of the 2018 A-10 Championship final.

The Colonials make their final scheduled national TV appearance with ESPNU covering their visit to Dayton on Feb. 17. After traveling to Massachusetts (Feb. 20), GW entertains St. Bonaventure (Feb. 24) and Duquesne (Feb. 27) for the final home games of the season. The regular season wraps up on March 2 at Richmond.

The 2019 Atlantic 10 Championship opens on Tuesday, March 5 with first round games at campus sites. Once again, the top four seeds will receive a bye to the quarterfinals. Duquesne's A.J. Palumbo Center will host the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals from March 8-10.

GW previously revealed its 13-game non-conference schedule that features six games against teams that advanced to the NCAA Tournament a year ago. The Colonials open the season at James Madison on Nov. 8.
