Drouin-Allaire Competes at NCAA Championship

SAINT LOUIS â€" George Washington gymnastics senior co-captain Cami Drouin-Allaire concluded her standout season at Friday night's NCAA Gymnastics Championship at Chaifetz Arena.
Competing as an individual qualifier, Drouin-Allaire was in action amongst the elite of collegiate gymnastics on national television.
In her GW program-record third-career appearance at the National Championship meet, Drouin-Allaire finished the evening 19th in the all-around with a 38.3125 behind scores of 9.250 on vault, 9.7125 on uneven bars, 9.500 on balance beam, and 9.850 on floor exercise.
Drouin-Allaire caps her career as the most decorated Colonial in program history. In addition to being named EAGL Gymnast and Senior of the Year, the biology major was recognized as an American Athletic, Inc. (AAI) Award finalist, an award that is given to the most outstanding senior female gymnast in the country. The co-captain was also named EAGL Gymnast of the Week a program-record four times this season after competing in all four events with career-highs of 9.900+ on each one. In addition, after boasting a regular-season 9.910 RQS on vault, she was recognized as a 2018 Regular Season All-American, marking the second time she has earned All-American honors in her career.
