Drouin-Allaire Named 2018 Regular Season All-America

WASHINGTON â€" Senior Cami Drouin-Allaire was named a 2018 Regular Season All-American, the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women (NACGC/W) announced on Wednesday. Drouin-Allaire earned second team All-America honors on vault.
The senior co-captain finished tied for tenth in the nation on vault to earn her All-America distinction. Drouin-Allaire scored a season-high 9.925 in the event and had an RQS of 9.910.
This is the sixth year the NACGC/W has presented regular season All-America awards. The top eight gymnasts on each event and in the all-around ranked by RQS earn first-team honors. The next eight (9-16) on each event and the all-around receive second-team recognition.
GW will compete at the NCAA Raleigh Regional on Saturday, April 7 at 4 p.m. The Colonials are a fourth seed in the meet and will face LSU, Nebraska, Oregon State, NC State and Maryland. The top two teams from each region will advance to team nationals on April 20 in St. Louis.
