Gymnastics Places 14 on All-EAGL Scholastic Team

A total of 83 student-athletes from the six EAGL schools were honored, with the Colonials' 14 honorees tying for the third most in the league. New Hampshire led the way with 17 honorees, Pittsburgh came in second with 15 student-athletes, and GW matched Towson with 14. NC State had 13 selections and North Carolina saw 10 gymnasts recognized.
In order to be honored as an All-EAGL Scholastic Team member, a gymnast must have maintained a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or above. Freshmen are eligible with Fall 2016 semester grades only.
Seniors Cami Drouin-Allaire, Jillian Winstanley, Sara Mermelstein, and Liz Pfeiler each earned their fourth-career recognition to lead the Colonials while fellow seniors Alex Zois and Madeline Seibold earned their third career honor.
Senior Brooke Bray, juniors Yurina Harada and Julia McLaughlin, and sophomore Nicole Rogalski each picked up their second career honors and were joined by first-time honorees in freshmen Hannah Cohen, Catherine Karpova, Chloe Vitoff, and Anna Warhol.
GW concludes its regular season on the road for tri-meet action at Kent State with Temple on Friday at 7 p.m. The 2018 EAGL Championship takes place next Saturday, March 24, in Towson, Maryland.
