Women’s Tennis Wraps Up Fall Slate at FIU Invite

Trio of Colonials to represent Buff and Blue
SERVING FIRST: The George Washington women's tennis team will wrap up its fall season this weekend when it heads down to Miami, Florida, to compete in the FIU Invite, beginning on Friday.
ACROSS THE NET: FIU is coming off of a strong 2017-18 season, in which they claimed the Conference USA title, earning an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2011. The Panthers kicked off their fall season at the Hilton Head Island 15K ITF before competing in the Bedford Cup in October.
FORMAT: The invitational is set to start on Friday and will continue through Saturday. Seniors Maria Siopacha and Victoria Kogan along with junior Melis Bayraktaroglu will represent the Buff in Blue in singles and doubles play.
