LAST TIME OUT: The Colonials beat Lehigh, 1-0, last Sunday behind Brady O'Connor's first career goal to salvage a split of their opening weekend.
IN FOCUS: The freshman class has already made quite an impact. Five of the newcomers -- O'Connor, Jordan Saint-Louis, Peirce Williams, Simon Fitch and Joshua Yurasits -- have drawn starts through two games. O'Connor and Saint-Louis were in both starting lineups.
FUN FACT: St. Francis Brooklyn's home field is situated along the East River on land that was once part of a busy port. After many years of planning, the athletic complex at Brooklyn Bridge Park's Pier 5 was completed in December 2012.
SCOUTING ST. FRANCIS BROOKLYN: The Terriers are off to a 1-1 start with a loss at Massachusetts and a home win over Lafayette. Matteo Caribotti scored both goals in Tuesday's 2-1 victory.
St. Francis Brooklyn is looking to return to the NCAA Tournament after winning the Northeast Conference regular season and tournament titles in 2016. It was the third time in four years the program advanced to the national tournament.
COMING UP: GW welcomes William & Mary next Tuesday at 2 p.m. in its home opener at GW Soccer Field on the Mount Vernon Campus.
