Nachtwey Claims A-10 Rookie of the Week Honors

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Peter Nachtwey of George Washington men's swimming and diving has been tabbed Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week.
Nachtwey impressed in his GW diving debut at the FIU Fall Classic to claim the conference's first weekly newcomer award of the season. The freshman from Ohio placed third in the 1-meter diving competition (246.40) and won the B flight on the 3-meter board (296.95). In doing so, he scored 25 combined points to help the Colonials finish second at the event in North Miami, Fla.
Nachtwey and the Colonials are back in action Saturday at Howard with their first dual meet of the season.
