No. 14 Gymnastics Visits Towson on Sunday

LEADING OFF: The No. 14 George Washington gymnastics team will carry its undefeated record into its second dual meet of the season when it visits East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) rival Towson on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at SECU Arena.
LAST TIME OUT: GW won the Lindsey Ferris Invitational for the fifth straight season last weekend by topping North Carolina, Penn and Cornell in its home opener at the Charles E. Smith Center.
The Colonials used season-high team scores on vault (49.025), uneven bars (48.80) and balance beam (49.375) while totaling 12 podium appearances to improve to 4-0 on the young season.
DOUBLE UP: Senior Chelsea Raineri earned her second consecutive EAGL Specialist of the Week award on Wednesday after accounting for three of GW's podium appearances last weekend. She posted season-high scores of 9.875 on vault (T-1st) and 9.825 on uneven bars (T-2nd) in addition to a 9.825 on floor exercise (T-2nd).
Raineri currently boasts EAGL individual ranks of second on vault (9.863 avg.), tied for fourth on bars (9.813) and tied for third on floor exercise (9.838)
EAGL ELITE: As a team, GW is the top-ranked EAGL squad in terms of overall score with an average output of 195.338 through two meets. The Colonials also boast the top vault (48.90 avg.), balance beam (49.225) and floor exercise (48.95) lineups.
Junior Cami Drouin-Allaire paces the conference on vault (9.875 avg.) and ranks fourth in the all-around (38.95 avg.).
GW also boasts the top-ranked balance beam performer in junior Jillian Winstanley (9.875 avg.)
SCENE OF THE TITLE: GW returns to Towson's SECU Arena for the second time since winning the EAGL Championship in the building on March 22, 2015. The Colonials also competed at the arena in a regular-season meet last season, placing second amongst Towson, NC State and William & Mary on February 26.
