WASHINGTON - The 2016 George Washington University women's basketball camp, hosted by new head coach Jennifer Rizzotti and her staff, is set for July 18-22 at the Charles E. Smith Center.
The day camp will run from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and will include two focus concepts each day, as well as offensive and defensive stations and 5-on-5 games. Campers will also have an opportunity for contests and lighter games, including knockout and dribble tag, and will also get a break for swimming.
Instruction will be provided by members of the 2016-17 Colonials as well as Rizzotti and her coaching staff of Bill Sullivan, Jackie Smith and Laura Harper.
The camp is open to all children, ages five through eighth grade (limited only by number, age and grade level).
The cost is $300 per camper, or $275 in enrolling more than one child. Additionally, cost for children of GW faculty and staff is $250.
