Farmer Finishes T-4th at Delaware Amateur Championship

WYOMING, Del. -- GW golfer Lucas Farmer shot a six-over par 294 to finish T-4th at the 72-hole Delaware Amateur Championship which concluded on Wednesday.
Farmer, a rising senior at GW, led the field in birdies with 18 over the four rounds, three clear of the number made by the champion. He opened the championship with a 1-over par 73 and followed with 74, 72 and 75.
A native of Highland, Md., who gained entry into the Delaware Amateur Championship by virtue of his membership at Rehobeth Beach Country Club, Farmer ranked third on the team in scoring average last season at 77.02. He also ranked third on the team with five rounds of par or better.
