First Day of A-10 Softball Championship Washed Away

WASHINGTON - Due to steady rains on Wednesday, the George Washington softball's Atlantic 10 Championship contest against third-seeded Massachusetts has been postponed until Thursday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at the GW Softball Field on the Mount Vernon Campus
The first game of the tournament between fourth-seeded Saint Louis and fifth-seeded Saint Joseph's went into a rain delay in the bottom of the first inning. The rain continued throughout the afternoon, preventing play from resuming.
The entire tournament has been pushed back one day, with Saturday's regularly scheduled championship game now moved to Sunday.
