GW Women's Soccer to Host Summer Residential Camp

WASHINGTON -- The George Washington women's soccer team will host a Summer Residential Camp from Wednesday, July 20, to Saturday, July 23, for players who are in grades 7-12, at the GW Soccer Field on the Mount Vernon Campus.
Head coach Sarah Barnes, along with assistant coaches Erin Ridley and Jeremy Williams, will lead the four-day summer camp. Players will experience a variety of technical and tactical training sessions designed to give each player insight into what it takes to play at the collegiate level. Participants will have the opportunity to refine their skills to take back to their club team or high school environment. Additionally, off-field sessions include tactical discussions and mental skills training, along with an evening trip to see DC monuments and an opportunity to take pictures at the White House.
Campers have the option to say overnight in an air conditioned residence hall on the Mount Vernon Campus located within walking distance of the field or commute to camp. Cost to participate for a residential camper is $560, while cost for a commuting camper is $460.
Check-in on Wednesday, July 20, will take place from 12:30-2:00 p.m. with camp introductions at 2:15 p.m. Closing ceremonies on Saturday, July 23, are slated to begin at 11:00 a.m., immediately followed by check-out at 11:15 a.m.
