
GW Women's Tennis Falls to No. 58 Old Dominion

NORFOLK, Va. - The George Washington women's tennis squad fell at No. 58 Old Dominion on Saturday afternoon at the Lady Monarch's Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.
No. 58 Old Dominion (11-5) grabbed the doubles point with victories at the Nos. 1 and 3 positions over the Colonials (5-9) to start the day.
ODU clinched the match after claiming straight-set victories at the Nos. 2, 6, and 3 positions to grab four points. Another straight-set win, this time in fifth-flight action, put the Lady Monarchs up, 5-0.
Sophomore Teordora Radosavljevic then battled in top-flight action, as she split the first two sets before falling in the third, 10-4.
The final bout of the day, at the No. 4 spot, also went in Old Dominion's favor to complete a 7-0 shutout.
The Colonials return to the court to visit defending Atlantic 10 Champion VCU on Sunday at 2 p.m.
