- Richmond's 47 points were the second-fewest scored by a GW opponent this season and marked the third time the Colonials have held their opponent below 50 points this season.
- The Colonials dominated the glass, outrebounding the Spiders, 46-30, to win the battle of the boards for the 24th straight game. GW's 24-9 edge on the offensive end yielded a 20-6 margin on second-chance points. Four players had at least six rebounds apiece - junior Caira Washington (8), sophomore Kelli Prange (6), junior Hannah Schaible (6) and sophomore Brianna Cummings (6) - and Washington and Schaible each had four offensive boards. The Buff and Blue continue to lead the nation in rebounding, averaging 49.67 per contest.
- GW dished out 20 assists on 26 made field goals, led by graduate student Lauren Chase's eight helpers. Freshman Mei-Lyn Bautista posted five assists, and junior Shannon Cranshaw had four. The Colonials have recorded 20 or more assists in six of their last nine contests and lead the A-10 with 17.9 assists per game against conference foes.
