WASHINGTON -- The George Washington women's basketball team looks to bounce back on Sunday afternoon when it visits Atlantic 10 rival Richmond at 2 p.m. at the Robins Center.
GW (19-4, 9-1 A-10) saw its 14-game winning streak snapped on Wednesday in a 76-69 loss at Fordham. Grad student Lauren Chase tallied a team-high 18 points and eight assists, while sophomore Brianna Cummings poured in 16 points off the bench and junior Caira Washington posted her third double-double in the last four games with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
At 9-1, GW remains atop the A-10 standings, a half game ahead of Duquesne (8-1) in second place and one game in front of St. Bonaventure (8-2) and Saint Louis (8-2), who are tied for third.
