No. 17 GW Gymnastics Continues Road Trip at Kent State

STREAK ON THE LINE: The No. 17 George Washington gymnastics team carries its perfect 7-0 record into Sunday's tri-meet at Kent State. The Colonials will face the host Golden Flashes along with Northern Illinois at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center.
Last season the Colonials opened the season with a program record 11 consecutive victories en route to the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Championship.
LAST TIME AT KENT STATE: The Colonials fell in a dual meet last season at Kent State, 195.700-193.725, on March 1.
RANKINGS WATCH: GW is No. 17 in the nation with an average team score of 195.517 after three meets. The Colonials balance beam lineup is ranked No. 15 in the country (48.892) along with top-20 rankings on uneven bars (t-17th, 48.975) and floor exercise (t-16th, 49.000).
Kent State is ranked No. 39 overall (194.125) while Northern Illinois sits at No. 42 (193.606).
EAGL LEADERS: Sophomore Cami Drouin-Allaire continues to lead the EAGL in two events. Her average vault routine of 9.85 leads the conference while her high score of 9.90 is the second-highest vault routine in the conference this season behind teammate Jillian Winstanley (9.925).
Drouin-Allaire is also the top all-around performer in the league with an average mark of 39.283.
Winstanley leads the EAGL on uneven bars with a 9.833 average and also ranks second on vault (9.80).
RELIABLE RANERI: A three-event specialist through three meets the season, junior Chelsea Raineri owns top-five EAGL rankings on both the floor exercise (4th, 9.833) and uneven bars (5th, 9.80). She is coming off a strong performance in last weekend's win over North Carolina after making podium appearances in all three events. She scored 9.825 on uneven bars (t-1st), 9.80 on floor exercise (t-2nd) and 9.775 on vault (t-3rd).
ROAD TRIP: Sunday marks the second meet in a row on the road and the third week since last competing at home at the Lindsey Ferris Invitational. The Colonials remain on the road next weekend at the prestigious Perfect 10 Challenge in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, against No. 2 Oklahoma, No. 13 Denver and No. 30 Utah State.
