GW Men's Soccer Visits Duquesne on Saturday

WASHINGTON - The George Washington men's soccer squad visits Atlantic 10 foe Duquesne on Saturday evening for a 7 p.m. match at Rooney Field.
The Colonials (5-2-5, 0-0-2 A-10) have tallied two draws in conference play, posting a 0-0 (2OT) effort against Fordham last Saturday before battling VCU to a 2-2 (2OT) draw on Wednesday.
Senior Garrett Heine and sophomore Dylan Lightbourn notched goals for GW on Wednesday. Lightbourn leads the squad with four scores on the season.
The Colonials are tied for second in the league with 13 goals on the year and average 1.08 goals per contest.
Saturday's match is poised to be a defensive showdown with two of the A-10's top defenses.
Duquesne (5-2-3, 0-0-1 A-10) has allowed the fewest goals (6) in the conference and owns a league-best 0.55 goals-against average, with GW close behind in second with nine goals allowed and a 0.68 GAA. Both GW and Duquesne have logged a conference-best six clean sheets in 2016.
Duquesne's Evan Kozlowski owns a league-best 0.55 GAA in in the net, while GW's sophomore Thor Arne Höfs ranks third with a 0.65 GAA. Höfs sits atop the A-10 with a .860 save percentage, just ahead of Kozlowski's .842 mark.
Duquesne played St. Bonaventure to a 0-0 (2OT) draw to open A-10 play on Wednesday.
The Colonials trail Duquesne in the all-time series, 8-9-1, and last met the Dukes in 2014.
