GW Men's Basketball Adds Series with Harvard

WASHINGTON -- The George Washington men's basketball program has agreed to a home-and-home series with Harvard.
The Colonials will visit Lavietes Pavilion in Cambridge, Mass., on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 7 p.m., while Harvard will return the game to the Smith Center during the 2017-18 season.
GW and the Crimson have played four times previously, with Harvard taking the last three meetings after the Colonials won the first game in the series in 2008.
The addition of the series brings GW's 2016-17 non-conference slate to 13 games, along with the 18-game Atlantic 10 schedule. The Colonials open the season on Nov. 11 vs. UMES at the Smith Center.
