GW Men's Soccer Hosts Saint Joseph's on Saturday

The Colonials (6-3-5, 1-1-2 A-10) are coming off a dominant, 3-0, victory at George Mason on Wednesday evening. Senior Garrett Heine matched a career high with five points on two goals and an assist in the win as GW posted its seventh clean sheet of the season. Junior Oliver Curry netted Wednesday's game-winner with his second score of the season.
The Colonials enter Saturday with a 2-0-4 home record in 2016.
GW ranks second in the league with 16 goals on the year and has tallied five goals in four A-10 matches. Heine has been an offensive force in 2016, leading the Colonials and ranking tied for third in the A-10 with 13 points on four goals and five assists.
The Buff and Blue own the league's top defense, ranking atop the A-10 with just 10 goals allowed on the year for a 0.66 goals-against average.
Saint Joseph's (6-6-1, 3-1-0 A-10) had its three-match A-10 win streak snapped on Wednesday in a 2-1 loss to Davidson. The Hawks are currently in a tie for first place in the league standings with nine points.
SJU's Matt Crawford leads the league with 17 points (7g, 3a) on the year.
The Colonials own a 17-7-3 advantage against the Hawks all-time, most recently taking a 1-0 double-overtime victory over SJU in 2015.
Saturday's match marks the beginning of GW Soccer Alumni Weekend. Alumni are invited to take the field after the match for the annual alumni game, followed by a reception not he Foggy Bottom campus.
