- Wednesday night's victory over Massachusetts extended GW's win streak to 11 games and improved the squad's Atlantic 10 record to 6-0. The Colonials have never lost to Massachusetts at home, improving to 22-0 all-time at the Charles E. Smith Center against the Minutewomen.
- The Colonials held their opponent below 61 points for the eighth straight game on Wednesday, allowing just 50 points against Massachusetts. GW continues to lead the A-10 in field goal percentage defense (.313) and 3-point percentage defense (.208) in conference games.
- After allowing 19 points in the opening quarter, GW held UMass to just 31 points the rest of the game, including six points in the second quarter.
- Senior Jonquel Jones turned in a career-high tying five steals in addition to three blocks against UMass. As a squad, the Colonials tied season highs with 11 swipes while forcing the Minutewomen into 24 turnovers.
- Junior Hannah Schaible matched her career high with 18 points in 22 minutes to lead all players.
- Sophomore Kelli Prange grabbed season-high 11 rebounds off the bench on Wednesday to help the Colonials win the battle of the boards for the 19th straight game to start the season. GW leads the A-10 and ranks second in the nation in rebounding margin (+17.2).
- The Colonials posted a season-high .833 free throw percentage against the Minutewomen with a 10-for-12 effort, led by graduate student Lauren Chase's 6-for-7 performance.
- GW dished out 20 assists on 26 made field goals, led by Chase's nine helpers against just one turnover.
