The George Washington women's tennis team has completed the first day of competition at the Elon and Saint Joseph's Invitationals.
Due to weather conditions, only doubles action took place at the Saint Joseph's Invitational on Friday. The pair of junior Allison Hansen and freshman Victoria Kogan fell in Flight 1 quarterfinal action to Delaware's Annie Jaskulski and Amanda Stunicki, 8-3, after receiving a first round bye. The GW duo then dropped a consolation match, 8-5, to Saint Joseph's Claire Minnoe and Alex Zachem.
