
GW Women's Tennis Falls to VCU on Sunday

RICHMOND, Va. - The George Washington women's tennis team fell to Atlantic 10 foe VCU, 5-0, on Sunday afternoon at the Rams' Thalhimer Tennis Center in the Colonials' final regular-season contest.
The Colonials (4-11, 0-3 A-10) dropped the doubles point to reigning A-10 champion VCU (12-8, 2-0 A-10) after falling in the top two positions.
In singles action, the Rams came out on top in the Nos. 1, 4, 5 and 6 positions to clinch the match.
VCU claims the nation's 52nd-ranked singles player, Cindy Chala, who defeated GW's top player, freshman Teodora Radosavljevic.
The Colonials are scheduled to have a weekend without competition before traveling to Charlottesville, Virginia, for the 2015 A-10 Championship hosted at the Boar's Head Sports Club from April 16-19.
