GW Gymnastics' Drouin-Allaire Competes at NCAA Championships

FORT WORTH, Texas - George Washington gymnastics freshman and Second Team All-American Cami Drouin-Allaire concluded her debut season at the NCAA Championships on Friday evening at the Fort Worth Convention Center.
Competing as an individual all-around qualifier, and as GW's second individual competitor in program history, Drouin-Allaire posted scores of 9.85 on vault (T-14th), 9.75 on uneven bars (T-37th), 9.75 on balance beam (T-26th) and 9.85 on floor exercise (T-21st). Her score of 39.20 in the all-around placed her in a tie for 10th place.
Her vault score was the highest among individual qualifiers that are not on a competing team.
Drouin-Allaire concludes a standout freshman campaign that saw her capture the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) vault championship and All-EAGL First Team honors on vault, floor exercise and all-around and become the program's first-ever All-American.
She also helped the Colonials to their first-ever EAGL Championship while tying the program record on vault (9.95) on three occasions.
