
GW Gymnastics' Drouin-Allaire Named EAGL Gymnast of the Week

BALTIMORE - George Washington gymnastics freshman Cami Drouin-Allaire has been named the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Gymnast of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday night.
The award marks Drouin-Allaire's second weekly honor of the season after being tabbed as the conference's Rookie of the Week on January 13.
The Shoreham, New York, native won the vault title for the fifth consecutive week as the George Washington gymnastics team totaled 193.725 in a dual-meet at Kent State on Sunday afternoon.
Drouin-Allaire scored 9.875 on the vault to win the event and was also GW's top performer on floor exercise, claiming fourth place with a score of 9.85.
She added 9.675 on uneven bars (T-6th) and 9.70 on balance beam (T-6th).
GW returns to action on Sunday when it hosts Western Michigan and Yale for the annual Pink Meet on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. at the Charles E. Smith Center.
