GW Women's Tennis Drops Spring Break Finale

ELON, N.C. - The George Washington women's tennis team completed a stretch of five matches in eight days over spring break with a 5-2 loss to Elon on Sunday afternoon at the Phoenix's Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.
In doubles action, Elon (7-5) took matches at the Nos. 2 and 3 slots to grab the early point over the Colonials (4-8, 0-1 A-10). The duo of junior Lana Robins and sophomore Grace Egger battled in the top doubles match before falling, 8-7 (7-2).
The Phoenix took matches at the Nos. 3-6 singles spots to clinch the match.
At the top of the ladder, freshman Teodora Radosavljevic won her second consecutive solo bout with a 2-6, 6-1, 1-0 (10-1) victory before Robins took the second-flight match, 6-2, 5-7, 1-0 (10-4).
The Colonials will visit Old Dominion (9-4) on Saturday before heading to Richmond (4-2, 2-0 A-10) for their second Atlantic 10 match-up of the spring.
