GW Gymnastics Concludes Regular Season Against Towson

WASHINGTON - The George Washington gymnastics team will conclude its regular-season schedule by competing in a home-and-home series this weekend with East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) rival Towson on Friday and Sunday.
Friday's meet will take place at Towson's SECU Arena at 7 p.m. before the Colonials host the Tigers for Senior Day at 1 p.m. on Sunday at the Charles E. Smith Center.
GW enters the weekend at No. 35 in the NCAA rankings with a regional-qualifying score (RQS) of 195.095. The top 36 teams at the conclusion of the regular season will advance to NCAA Regionals.
The Colonials have a number of gymnasts ranked among the top five event leaders in the EAGL entering the final weekend of regular-season competition.
Freshman Jillian Winstanley is the top all-around performer with an RQS of 39.175. She also ranks fourth on vault (9.855 RQS) and fifth on uneven bars (9.825 RQS).
Freshman Cami Drouin-Allaire, the reigning EAGL Rookie of the Week, is the top vault performer in the conference entering this weekend with an RQS of 9.895. She also ranks third in the all-around (39.130 RQS) and is tied for fourth on uneven bars (9.830 RQS).
Drouin-Allaire has earned three EAGL weekly awards this season. She was named Gymnast of the Week following Week 8 and was the Rookie of the Week for the first week of the season as well as last week's competitions.
Sophomore Chelsea Raineri is the top floor-exercise performer in the conference with an RQS of 9.865 and is tied for second place on vault with a 9.885 regional-qualifying score.
Raineri earned her third EAGL Specialist of the Week award after tying GW's program record on vault with a 9.95 at last weekend's Pink Meet. She also tied for first place on floor exercise with a 9.85.
Freshman Liz Pfeiler is ranked fifth on the balance beam with a regional-qualifying score of 9.805.
