
GW Gymnastics Remains Perfect with Win at Sacramento State

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The George Washington gymnastics improved upon its best start in program history by moving to 10-0 overall with a 194.625-193.575 victory over Sacramento State on Friday evening at the Hornets Nest.
The Colonials posted team scores of 49.00 on vault, 48.15 on uneven bars, 48.45 on balance beam and 49.025 on floor exercise.
Freshman Jillian Winstanley won her third all-around title of the season with a score of 39.125. She posted a season-high mark on vault with 9.875 (T-1st) and added scores of 9.80 on uneven bars (T-2nd), 9.70 on balance beam (T-4th) and 9.75 on floor exercise (T-10th).
Freshman Liz Pfeiler also claimed an event title by winning the balance beam with a season-high tying score of 9.825, the third time this season she has hit that mark.
Sophomore Chelsea Raineri tied for first place on vault with a score of 9.875 en route to a fourth-place finish in the all-around (38.15). She also posted scores 9.85 on floor exercise (T-2nd), 9.575 on uneven bars (9th) and 8.85 on balance beam.
Sophomore Alex DeMoura placed second in the all-around with a score of 38.75. Her total consisted of 9.725 on vault (T-7th), 9.725 on uneven bars (5th), 9.525 on balance beam (8th) and 9.775 on floor exercise (T-8th).
Freshman Cami Drouin-Allaire tied for second on floor exercise (9.85) and placed fourth on vault (9.80) en route to claiming fifth place in the all-around with a score of 38.125.
GW concludes its West Coast trip on Sunday afternoon with a dual meet at UC Davis at 1:00 p.m. PT. (4 ET)
