WASHINGTON - The George Washington softball team's non-conference finale at district rival Georgetown, originally scheduled for Tuesday, has been canceled due to inclement weather and will not be made up.

The Colonials (25-18, 12-4 A-10) return to action this weekend when they close out the regular season with four crucial home games against Atlantic 10 rivals Temple and Saint Joseph's. At 12-4 in the A-10, GW is currently a game behind the Hawks (14-4) for first place in the league standings and percentage points ahead of the Owls (13-5), who are tied for third with Fordham.
