GW Softball to Recognize Alumnae on April 21

WASHINGTON - The George Washington softball team will hold its Alumnae Day on Saturday, April 21. The program will recognize former Colonials prior to the start of its 12 p.m. doubleheader against Atlantic 10 rival Dayton.
Following the conclusion of the second game, the Colonials will hold a tailgate celebration at the GW Softball Field on the Mount Vernon Campus.
The alumnae acknowledgement will be a part of Senior Day, as the Colonials will also honor seven seniors who will be playing in the final weekend home games of their careers.
"It seems fitting that we recognize the alumnae while also recognizing our seniors, since the seniors will be joining the alumnae family at the end of the season," said head coach Stacey Schramm.
