WASHINGTON, DC - George Washington's women's basketball players and coaches began this past weekend by visiting some of its closest and most loyal supporters at St. Mary's Court, a senior residential living facility just blocks from Charles E. Smith Center.
The Colonials visited and chatted with residents on Friday, Aug. 6, led St. Mary's Bingo Night and gave away team T-shirts and other prizes.
"My goal is to establish a legitimate relationship with St. Mary's and a true outreach spirit within our players," said head coach Mike Bozeman. "St. Mary's is a part of the GW community and they should know that we care. Our players have been great and are enjoying the experience."
