Kristen Simpson Finishes Fourth on Vault at Southeast Regional

Full 2009 Southeast Regional Results 
Three members of the George Washington women's gymnastics team were in action on Saturday night and finished out the season with strong performances against the nation's best at the Southeast Regional. Senior Kristen Simpson finished tied for fourth in the vault competition with a score of 9.875.
Sophomore Leslie Delima and freshman Amanda Murphy also competed in the all-around competition, finishing with overall scores of 37.775 and 38.375 respectively. Murphy finished with 9.750 scores on vault and floor exercise and Delima finished with a 9.800 on floor exercise for her high score of the meet.
Georgia and Penn State were the two team competition teams to advance to the NCAA Championships in Lincoln, NE set to begin on April 16th.
