BLOOMINGTON, IN -- George Washington's Brendan Barrack placed 14th in the 85-player field after Sunday's final round of the Adidas Hoosier Invitational men's golf tournament at Bloomington, IN. The sophomore from Toronto fired a three-round 217 that included a pair of one-over-par 72s Saturday. Barrack carded nine birdies but was still 14 strokes off the pace set by Indiana's Jorge Campillo (68-67-68) at the par 71, 6,813-yard Indiana University Golf Course.
The No. 6-ranked Hoosiers ran away from the field to win the 54-hole tournament with a 13-under 839 to defeat runner-up Eastern Kentucky by 27 strokes. The Colonials placed 11th in the 16-team field with a 902 (303-301-298), two strokes behind 10th-place Northern Illinois.
Colonials sophomore Max Hamm tied for 34th with a +12 225 (76-74-75) three strokes better than teammate Martin Liu's 228 (78-74-76) which placed him in a five-way tie for 44th place.
The Colonials' next competition will be at the Caves Valley Spring Intercollegiate on April 18-19 at Owings Mills, MD. Yale hosts the 54-hole event which takes place at the par-71, 6,942-yard Caves Valley Golf Club near Baltimore.
