Softball Falls to Pitt in Game 2 of Colonial Classic

WASHINGTON, DC - The Colonials fell to the Pittsburgh in game two of the 2009 Colonial Classic, 6-0. The loss drops GW to 3-7 on the season.
Amanda Gabriel got the only GW hit to lead off the sixth inning. Krissy Mackiewicz was the other runner for the Colonials as she led off the game with a walk.
Kara Clauss pitched against Pitt only allowing nine hits and two earned runs in six innings of work.
The Colonials face Army at 10 a.m. and Pitt at 2:30 p.m. in the second day of the Colonial Classic. Pitt and Army will face off for the 12:15 p.m. game.
