WASHINGTON, DC - George Washington women's basketball head coach Mike Bozeman has announced that freshman guard Kayla Miller has left the program.
"Kayla is a great person and basketball player and I'm sorry things did not work out for her at GW," Bozeman said. "Part of me is sad it didn't work out, but Kayla deserves to be happy and I'll never hesitate to help her in the future."
Miller, a three-time All-State selection at Ursuline Academy in Delaware, averaged 1.3 points, 0.9 rebounds and 6.2 minutes in seven games off the bench for the Colonials. She had nine points, three rebounds and two assists in 17 minutes of action in GW's 77-36 victory over Coppin State Nov. 17.
