Gymnastics Home Opener To Be Televised by CN8

WASHINGTON, DC - The George Washington University gymnastics team will have its GW/Lindsey Ferris Invitational, the opening of the 2008 season on Sunday, January 20, televised on CN8. The six-team meet hosted by the Colonials, which includes East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) rivals North Carolina and Rutgers, as well as Cornell, Temple and William & Mary, will be shown on CN8 Saturday, Jan. 26, at 9:30 pm and Saturday, Feb. 2, at 3:30 pm. Commentary for the meet will be provided by legendary gymnast Shannon Miller, the most decorated gymnast in US history, and multiple Emmy Award winning sports reporter, Lou Tilley.
This marks the first televised home meet in the 33-year history of Colonials gymnastics.
