David Zenk Named Academic All-Atlantic 10

PHILADELPHIA, PA - Sophomore David Zenk has been named to the Atlantic 10 Academic Al-Conference Team it was announced by conference officials. In order to be selected for this honor, one must have had a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
Zenk shattered two conference records at the A10 Championships en route to receiving this honor. He set the new mark in the 200-yard Individual Medley with a 1:49.38. This time broke the previous record of 1:49.81, which was set by former Colonials swimmer, Juan Bocanegra in 1999.
The St. Louis, MO, native, also set a record in the 400 IM at the A10 Championships, clocking in at 3:54.94. This new time broke the previous mark by one hundreth of a second.
Zenk is joined on the Men's Academic All-Conference team by Chris Eskimoff and James Wood of St. Bonaventure; Eric Bugby, Scott Darwin, and Ian Walsh of Duquesne; Brad Byars of Saint Louis; Fordham's Donato Callara and Ben Marzolf; Sean Connors-McBride and Karo Isajan of La Salle; Xavier's Dave Janszen and Matt Krouse; Ryan Sheatsley of Rhode Island, and John Weaver of Massachusetts.
