Swimming & Diving Ranked Among Nation's Best Academically

Colorado Springs, CO - The College Swim Coaches Association of America has announced that the George Washington University men's program posted the nation's sixth-highest combined grade point average and the women's team posted the 18th highest for Division I teams during the 2006 fall semester.
The men's program accumulated a 3.36 GPA for the semester, and the women's team accumulated a 3.37 GPA. Both team totals were tops in the Atlantic 10 Conference this season.
The University of Denver posted the top men's and women's GPA with a 3.48 and 3.58, respectively.
