GW Women's Basketball Improves in Coaches' Poll

WASHINGTON, DC - The George Washington women's basketball team improved one spot to No. 19 in the USA Today/ESPN Top 25 Coaches' Poll, released by the WBCA this afternoon.
GW (7-1) is preparing to face Tennessee (6-1), which dropped to sixth in the Associated Press Poll and fifth in the Coaches' Poll following its 70-57 loss at No. 2/2 North Carolina on Sunday, at Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, TN, on Thursday at 7:00 pm.
The Colonials, as well as No. 20 DePaul (5-1), moved ahead of Rutgers (2-2), which fell four spots to No. 21. GW remained steady at No. 21 in the AP Top 25, which was released yesterday.
