George Washington Tops Fordham 77-66

NEW YORK (AP) - T.J. Thompson was 5-for-8 from 3-point range and scored 24 points to lead George Washington to a 77-66 victory over Fordham on Wednesday night, extending the Rams' losing streak to seven games.
Omar Williams added 13 points for the Colonials (14-8, 8-3 Atlantic 10), who won their third straight and eighth of the last 10. Mike Hall added 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Michael Haynes topped the Rams (4-16, 1-8) with 30 points, 21 in the second half. He was 12-of-21 from the field, including 4-for-6 from 3-point range, and had 12 rebounds.
Mark Jarrell-Wright added 14 points for the Rams, who have lost 22 of their last 23 conference games.
The Colonials, behind Thompson's seven points, opened the second half on a 22-5 run to take a 55-34 lead with 12:37 to go.
Haynes scored all of Fordham's points in a 12-2 run that cut the deficit to 57-46 with 8:20 to play.
